Since opening on June 1, 2015, Palm Springs Safe Access has been a pioneering vertical cannabis company, meaning they grow or provide the majority of their products. Large windows allow sunlight to fill the spacious main room—enough to grow a lush hanging garden of philodendrons—and display a stunning view of the rolling desert hills. The elegant, hand-crafted, wood-slatted displays and flooding natural light bring a warm, homey feel to an already uplifting ambiance.

The People
The shining team at PSSA are big supporters of LGBTQ rights, and have a two percent rewards program for their patients based on a purchasing point system. They’re also about to implement a program where patients and recreational consumers can choose where to donate their charitable contributions. PSSA maintains a more mature clientele, with a large portion of their customers in their fifties—perhaps unsurprising in a retirement haven like Palm Springs. The calm atmosphere of their main room couldn’t be more ideal for educating new customers and patients alike.

The Product
PSSA grows around 50 strains at a time and provides roughly 99 percent of the flower they sell. With in-house, porcelain-grown strains like Wonder Woman and Eagle Scout, or their two most popular genetics, Forte Hybrid and Forte CBD, you can’t go wrong. Their edible selection isn’t as expansive as their bud array; however, PSSA is designing their own line of infused treats with more products to come!
