Avantpop Bookstore and Poetry Promise are pleased to invite you to Season Three of Poetry Arcade, a free poetry event Hosted by Shwa Laytart. A two-day event!
Las Vegas is the home to many talented poets and this event is a taste of what our creative city has to offer!
So how does Poetry Arcade work? A series of poets will read their work on stage. Much like an arcade, tokens can be purchased at Avantpop Bookstore or in advance that can then be used after each round of readings. Patrons can select their favorite poets and give them tokens as a gift of gratitude, like poetry busking! Also, exchange tokens for a personal, recorded reading with a poet in the Avantpop Bookstore Podcast Room. At the end of the event, the poets redeem their tokens for cash.
